Great to hear this morning that Nick Gould has been named President of Cooper. Congrats to all involved. I’ve been focused more locally this year, and am just catching up on the news. Reading about the merger last year, I was struck by this line from Alan, and thought I’d have some fun with it.

After a year with Meld Studios, I’m also struck by the fact that designers can easily say they want to be strategic — to affect the course of an organisation — but to do this you need to articulate very clearly what the nature of that strategic affect is.
